The Major Arena Soccer League commences in just less than a month when the Chicago Mustangs launch their season with a home opener on October 31st at the Sears Center Arena in Hoffman Estates, Illinois at 7:05pm. They will kick off versus their interstate rivals, the Milwaukee Wave who reign just north of the Illinois border. The Chicago Mustangs have released their full schedule on the official website, www.chicagomustangspro.com, where you can also purchase your tickets online.
This will be a great start for the Chicago Mustangs, who will battle the Milwaukee Wave four times this season, with each splitting two home games. A pair of teams Chicago will also become familiar challenging on the other side of the ball will be the Missouri Comets and the St Louis Ambush. The Mustangs did not see a victory versus the Comets, but did find success in two of the three games versus the Ambush last season.
Chicago has been widely criticized by many about the level of competition on their previous schedules and this year the Mustangs hope to silence many of those critics. After opening on Halloween Night versus the Milwaukee Wave, the Mustangs will travel to the house of the 2015 MASL runner up to take on the Baltimore Blast on Saturday, November 7th. Less than 24 hours later, Chicago will travel to Hartford City to welcome them to the league in their debut as a Major Arena Soccer League team.
The 2015 "" 2016 season welcomes another new team to the league from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the Rampage. The Mustangs will host the Cedar Rapids Rampage in a free exhibition match at Grand Sports Arena in Hoffman Estates on Friday, October 16th at 8:00pm before they visit each others' homes again later in the season. The Mustangs will see three teams on their schedule from the eastern division and one from the western division. The three teams coming from the east coast will be the Detroit Waza Flo, the Harrisburg Heat, and the Syracuse Silver Knights. Ontario Fury will be the first Western Division team to play the Chicago Mustangs during the regular season.
The Chicago Mustangs look forward to a competitive season providing quality family entertainment for both the fans at home and away.
