Dallas Sidekicks Look for 3rd Consecutive Win Saturday Night

Allen, TX- The defending MASL champions, Baltimore Blast visit the Allen Center Event for the only time during the 2016-17 season when they challenge the Dallas Sidekicks (4-4) on December 17 at 7:00 pm. The Sidekicks enter the match with a 4-4 record, while the Baltimore Blast enter the match with a 4-2 record.
The Dallas Sidekicks offense is averaging 8.1 goals per game and scoring 42% of their power play goals. The team is also killing 76% of their penalties. Forward Cameron Brown leads the team in goals with 15. Brown also leads the team in points with 20. Cody Ellis & Dallas' captain Ricardinho are tied for first on the team with 8 assists. The team will be without their starting goalie, Juan Gamboa. Eduardo Macias will replace Gamboa in goal Saturday night. Macias has been featured in 2 games for the Sidekicks, both games were away at El Paso. Macias has a GAA of 6.00 and a save percentage of .613% Macias has faced a total 31 shots saving 19.
The Baltimore Blast is averaging 5.7 goals per game and scoring 44% of their power play goal. Veteran defenders Adriano Dos Santos and Nelson Santana anchor the Blast defense in front of goalkeeper William Vanzela, who leads the MASL with a 2.72 GAA. Vanzela is also second in MASL with a .784% save percentage.

Saturday's match also the Sidekicks' holiday celebration with fans, who will have the opportunity to take free pictures with Santa. The game will also feature live holiday music by Hatz, Harmony and note-ably the North Texas Chorus. Kids can participate in the half-time champions holiday parade wearing their best, prizes will be awarded for each category:
