
Dallas Recalls Vincour, Assigns Morin and Sceviour to Texas

Cedar Park, TX - The Dallas Stars announced on Sunday that the NHL club has recalled right wing Tomas Vincour (Vin-sooer) from the Texas Stars, Dallas' development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). Dallas has also assigned center Travis Morin and right wing Colton Sceviour (See-vee-orr) to Texas.
Vincour, 20, is looking to make his NHL debut. He has appeared in 44 games for Texas this season, scoring five goals and seven assists for 12 points with 10 penalty minutes. The Brno, Czech Republic, native was selected by Dallas in the fifth round (129th overall) of the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
Morin, 27, has appeared in three games for Dallas, including his NHL debut against Edmonton in a 3-1 win on Jan. 26. He has recorded 34 points (13g, 21a) in 47 games this season for Texas. Morin was signed as a free agent on July 12, 2010 and was originally selected in the 2004 NHL Entry Draft (ninth round, 263rd overall) by the Washington Capitals.
Sceviour, 21, was recalled from Texas on Friday and made his NHL debut Saturday at Philadelphia. He has appeared in 47 games for Texas this season, scoring nine goals and 16 assists for 25 points with four penalty minutes and a +6 rating. A native of Red Deer, Alberta, Sceviour was originally selected by Dallas in the fourth round (112 overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
Texas hosts Houston on Tuesday, February 8th at 7:30 PM. Every Tuesday fans may bring any H-E-B food item to receive $5 off their ticket price.
