Dakota Wizards To Host Free Basketball Clinic For Children Of North Dakota National Guard

BISMARCK, N.D.- The NBA Development League Champion Dakota Wizards announced today that they have teamed up with the North Dakota National Guard for a youth free basketball clinic.

"We are proud of our North Dakota Soldiers", said Wizards general manager Tom Wagganer. "We really wanted to be able to give something back to the men and women who keep our country safe, so this is the least we can do."

The free clinic is available for all youth whose parents serve in the National Guard and will be held at the Raymond J. Bohn armory gym, located at 4200 E. Divide Ave., Bismarck. The clinic will run from 6-7 pm CT on Monday, March 3 and will feature Wizards players, coaches and staff.

In conjunction with the clinic the Dakota Wizards have announced that the Sunday, March 9 contest vs. the Fort Wayne Mad Ants will be North Dakota National Guard night. Military members and their families who show a military identification card will be offered a discounted ticket courtesy of AMVETS.
