Mad Ants Roster Update

The NBA D-League's Fort Wayne Mad Ants have added three players to their roster this week. The Mad Ants have acquired power forward Harry Good, power forward James Peters, and shooting guard Rob Griffin. Center Nate Gerwig has been waived due to Injury.

James Peters, acquired February 24, started his collegiate career at Butler County Community College and finished at UNLV where he averaged 6.3 ppg and 3.5 rpg his senior season. Since his collegiate career, Peters has played professionally overseas in Japan, Lebanon, and Luxembourg. He was the 3rd round D-League draft pick by Bakersfield and has played the first half of the season for the Jam including a loss to the Mad Ants on February 20, where he had 18 points and 6 rebounds. For the Jam, Peters averaged 15.2 ppg and 5.6 rpg.

Rob Griffin, acquired February 26, played collegiately at Iowa University where he led the Big Ten in 3 pointers made during the 1999-2000 season. Griffin has an extensive professional resume including stints in the CBA and IBL including the Gary Steelheads during the 2005-2006 season. Griffin played with the Detroit Pistons during the 2006-07 preseason but was waived before the season began.

Harry Good, acquired February 23, played collegiately at Rutgers University. The 6'10", 255lbs forward played professionally in both the CBA and ABA. Good was drafted by the Albuquerque Thunderbirds this season but was waived before the final roster was set. He has seen action in the last two Mad Ants games.

Nate Gerwig was waived from the Mad Ants roster due to injury on February 23. All three recently added players are expected to play in the Mad Ants next game on Friday, February 29 in Austin.
