Dairy Queen Home Opener Tailgate Party Announced

LETHBRIDGE, AB - The Lethbridge Hurricanes Hockey Club announced Wednesday they will hold a tailgate party prior to the Dairy Queen Home Opener on Friday, September 30th at the ENMAX Centre.

The 'Canes will welcome the Medicine Hat Tigers in the first of 34-home games in the 2022-2023 season. Prior to the game, a tailgate party will take place at the NE corner of the ENMAX Centre from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with burgers being served until 6:45pm; doors to the ENMAX Centre open at 6:00pm.

The tailgate party will include Browns Socialhouse serving burgers, chips and pop by donation with proceeds supporting the United Way of Lethbridge and South Western Alberta. In addition, there will be a beer garden hosted by the ENMAX Centre for fans 18 years of age or older.

The family friendly event will also feature music from 106.7 ROCK while having fun activities for the children.

Single game tickets for the Dairy Queen Home Opener are on sale now and can be purchased at any Dairy Queen location, while supplies last, or by visiting the ENMAX Centre Ticket Centre, the Yates Memorial Theatre Ticket Centre, by calling 403-329-SEAT (7328) or online at www.lethbridgehurricanes.com.
