D.C. United's Marc Burch Set to Guest Bartend at Glory Day's Grill

Washington, D.C. (June 14, 2011) - D.C. United defender Marc Burch is set to go behind the bar at Glory Day's Grill in Centerville, VA to help raise funds for United for D.C. - the club's non-profit arm. The event takes place from 8:00-10:00 p.m. this Wednesday, June 15, while Burch will be serving patrons from 8:00-9:00 p.m.

10% of all food sales from 8:00-10:00 p.m. will be donated to United for D.C. The evening will also include a raffle to win autographed items or tickets to upcoming United home games. All in attendance can take advantage of the following specials: $5 appetizers and burgers, $3.99 Tall Miller Lites, 3 for $10 Corona buckets, $1.99 Budweiser, Bud Light, Coors Light and Miller Lite draughts.

United for D.C is also participating in Glory Days Grill's 'Dining for Dollars' program. United supporters who dine at any Glory Days location can send their receipts to United for D.C. who will receive 10% of the total tab as a donation.

Glory Days Grill is an official bar partner of D.C. United. United supporters can watch all of United's televised games during the 2011 season at Glory Days Grill locations across Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia.

Glory Days Grill is a sports-themed American bar/grill with several locations in Maryland, Virginia, and West Virginia. Each location offers great service and entertainment for all ages, with more than 25 televisions. In addition, each location has a designated area for private parties and events. Glory Days Grill was founded by Jeff Newman, Richard Danker, and Robert Garner on 1996. Their first location opened in Burke, Va.
