Portland (5-6-2, 17pts) looks to end a string of three consecutive losses Sunday when it faces New York. The Timbers face their third Eastern Conference opponent in the last five games, and at home, Portland is 3-1-0 against teams from the East. The Timbers have a league-best five home wins and their 12 goals scored at JELD-WEN Field ranks among league leaders in goals scored at home.

The Red Bulls (5-2-7, 22pts) kick off a four-game road stretch on Sunday with their first visit to the Rose City. New York enters the week in a two-way tie with the Philadelphia Union at the top of the Eastern Conference standings. Behind Thierry Henry's team-leading seventh goal of the season, the Red Bulls extended their unbeaten streak to five games with a 2-1 win over the New England Revolution at Red Bull Arena on June 10. New York features one of the top-scoring duos in MLS with Henry and forward Luke Rogers combining for 12 of the team's 21 goals this season.

Sunday's match against New York to kickoff at 7 p.m. (Pacific)

Kickoff for the Timbers' match against the Red Bulls on Sunday is set for 7 p.m. (Pacific). The 7 p.m. start is a change from the original kickoff time of 4 p.m. when the club's schedule was first announced.

Timbers defender Futty Danso was listed at No. 3 among all MLS players on May's MLS Castrol Index, which assesses and ranks MLS players' performances, behind New York's Theirry Henry and Seattle's Alvaro Fernandez.

Castrol's team of performance analysts use the latest technology to objectively analyze every match during the 2011 MLS season, logging an average of 1,800 player movements per match. It tracks every move on the field and assesses whether it has a positive or negative impact on a team's ability to score or concede a goal and in which zone on the pitch the action takes place.
