WASHINGTON, DC (October 11, 2005) - Members of D.C. United are set to make a number of appearances in the community over the next week. Shawn Kuykendall and Bryan Namoff will be at the Children's Hospital on Tuesday, October 11, for the United Reads Reading Corner. Various players will make appearances at Birney Elementary School and Howard Road Elementary School, as part of the United Reads program. Additionally, on Saturday, October 15, Tim Merritt and Nick Van Sicklen will each make an appearance at the United Legacy Cup, while Bobby Boswell and Josh Gros will appear for the Futbol Fantasy Promotion, following the team's game versus the Columbus Crew.
