
Colorado Rapids 2005 Playoff Tickets on Sale Now

DENVER, CO (Tuesday, October 11, 2005)- The Colorado Rapids announced today that 2005 Western Conference Semifinal tickets, including the Youth Night Special presented by Fat City and individual tickets, are on sale now. The Rapids will be hosting either the San Jose Earthquakes or FC Dallas on Saturday, October 22nd at 7:00 p.m. at INVESCO Field at Mile High in the first leg of the 2005 MLS Western Conference Semifinals. The Black and Blue's opponent for that game will be determined based on the final regular season standings after the weekend of October 15th.
The Rapids Youth Night Special, presented by Fat City, enables fans to purchase any adult ticket and receive a second ticket FREE for kids 16 and under, plus get two coupons good for one free activity at Fat City! Fans can choose from bowling, laser tag, mini-golf, foam factory, the Twister, skate, bumper cars, and more. Fans can call the Rapids at 303-825-GOAL to purchase their Youth Night Special now! Individual tickets and group tickets for the playoff game are now on sale by calling the Rapids ticket office at 303-825-GOAL or by logging on to www.coloradorapids.com, and at the Pepsi Center box office (10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m.) or any TicketMaster locations, or by calling 303-830-TIXS. Ticket Prices for the 2005 MLS Playoff Semifinal are $10, $15, $20, $25 and $35. Season Ticket Holders will use "PLAYOFF GAME 1" tickets for the first round home game and "GAME B" tickets for the Western Conference Championship game, if played at INVESCO Field.
2005 Playoff seeding will be determined on the weekend of October 15th, in the final leg of the 2005 MLS regular season. The away game of the Conference Semifinal will be played on Saturday, October 29th either at Spartan Stadium or Pizza Hut Park, depending on the opponent.
The Rapids will close the 2005 MLS regular season tomorrow, Wednesday, October 12th when they take on the Real Salt Lake at Rice-Eccles Stadium at 7:30 p.m. (MT).
