D.C. United Offers Discount on Season Tickets for First Time in Club History

Washington, DC (August 25, 2010) - D.C. United announced today it will offer a discount on season tickets for the first time in club history. Beginning next Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2011 Season Tickets will be available at 2010 prices. Supporters paying in full on Sept. 1 will receive a 10% discount on 2011 Season Tickets at 2010 prices. Paying in full between Sept. 2 and Nov. 1 will result in total cost savings of 5% at 2010 prices. In addition to the discount offers, placing a deposit for 2011 season tickets by Dec. 17 guarantees 2010 prices and seat location.

As an added incentive, supporters who purchase 2011 Season Tickets in full by Oct. 23 will be eligible to take part in an exclusive photo shoot with United legend Jaime Moreno and all of the club's major trophies. The photo shoot will take place following the team's final game on Oct. 23 at RFK Stadium. The game will also serve as the last game in a D.C. United uniform for the League's all-time leading goal scorer.

The club will also host a series of Q&A sessions with United President and CEO Kevin Payne for current Full Season Tickets holders. Prior to each remaining League home game, Payne will provide a state of the team address and take questions from Season Ticket Holders. The program will take place at 5 p.m. in the Capital View Club at RFK Stadium before the team's Sept. 4, Sept. 25, Oct. 9 and Oct. 23 games. Season Ticket holders are asked to RSVP via dcunited.com/2011.
