
D.C. United, Maicon Santos Part Ways

Washington, D.C. (December 7, 2012) - D.C. United today announced that forward Maicon Santos was selected by the Chicago Fire in Stage One of the 2012 MLS Re-Entry Draft.
"We would like to thank Maicon for his time with D.C. United, and wish him the best of luck in the future," said D.C. United General Manager Dave Kasper.
Santos was obtained on January 18, 2012 from FC Dallas. Santos featured for D.C. United in 26 games this season (16 starts), tallying seven goals and three assists.
