D.C. United Fans to Gather to Watch USA v. Italy Match

Washington, D.C. (June 16, 2006) - D.C. United announced today fans will gather at three area locations for Team USA's Saturday June 17th match against Italy. The game, featuring United's own Ben Olsen, will air on ABC with a 3 p.m. ET kick-off.

The Pourhouse, Bailey's Pub and Grille, and ESPNZone will each host viewing parties for the game, the USA's second in World Cup group play.

The Pourhouse, located at 319 Pennsylvania Ave., SE, is the official Budweiser 2006 FIFA World Cup viewing location. With doors opening at 8 a.m., the official party will begin at 11 a.m. Admission is $20 in advance and $25 on game day with $5 of each admission fee donated to United for D.C., the charitable arm of D.C. United.

Space is limited to 250 guests with a four-ticket limit per person. Pre-sale VIP passes, including a voucher for a United home game, three raffle tickets and tickets redeemable for two free Bud/Bud Light drafts, are available. Door prizes and drink specials will be available throughout the day, with the game being shown Live and in HDTV. Bailey's Pub and Grille, located in the Ballston Common Mall at 4238 Wilson Blvd. in Arlington, VA, will host a viewing party beginning at 12 p.m. on Saturday. A $10 entry charitable donation to United for D.C. includes three raffle tickets to win a Team Autographed Ball, Ben Olsen Autograph Picture, DCU Tickets and Much More! A $20 entry will provide you with a donation, three raffle tickets and a ticket to your choice of the 6/21 or 6/24 D.C. United home match. A third viewing party will be hosted by ESPNZone, located at 555 12th St. NW.
