
D.C. United Announces Baltimore Bohemians as Development Partner

D.C. United News Release
Washington, D.C. (April 30, 2012) - D.C. United announced today a development partnership with USL PDL side Baltimore Bohemians. A friendly match between United's U-23 squad and the Bohemians has also been scheduled for Tuesday, June 5 at Cedar Lane in Bel Air, Md, the Bohs' home ground. Match details will be available soon at dcunited.com.
As part of the agreement, the Bohemians will provide D.C. United with prospective players that may have the potential to play in Major League Soccer. United and the Bohemians will also combine efforts to cross-promote both clubs in Baltimore and the D.C. Metro Area.
In other club news, D.C. United's Academy announced the U-14/15 tryout dates for the 2013/2014 season. All tryouts will be held at the RFK Auxiliary Field. Tryout schedule is below.
U-14/15 May Tryouts
May 21 - 6:30 p.m.
May 23 - 6:30 p.m.
May 30 - 6:30 p.m.
U-14/15 June Tryouts
June 6 - 6:30 p.m.
June 13 - 6:30 p.m.
June 20 - 6:30 p.m.
Players trying out for the U-14 team must be born on or after January 1, 1998, while those trying out for the U-15 team must be born on or after January 1, 1997. United's U-14/15 squads will train three to four times a week in the evenings and will compete in the Northeast Pre-Academy League.
