KANNAPOLIS, NC - The Kannapolis Intimidators are pleased to announce that Cynthia Griner, Mrs. North Carolina International, will be at the Saturday, June 26th game at 7:05 pm against the Augusta GreenJackets to throw out a first pitch, sign autographs and collect donations for the fight against Alzheimer's at Fieldcrest Cannon Stadium.

Crowned Mrs. North Carolina International on February 27th, 2010, Cynthia is a proud mother of four boys in addition to a career in theatre. An advocate for Alzheimer's Disease, Cynthia is the founder and CEO of Purple Passion 4 Alzheimer's, a non-profit that helps educate caretakers and support the Alzheimer's afflicted. It's for this foundation that Mrs. Griner will hope to collect donations at the game.

On June 26th, the Intimidators will also host members of the Earnhardt family who will be on hand to sign autographs in support of the Dale Earnhardt Foundation. There is a special ticket package for this night in support of the foundation. There will also be a fireworks display after the game.
