
Cyclones Receive Jozsa And McKenzie From Milwaukee

CINCINNATI, Ohio - The Cincinnati Cyclones, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Montreal Canadiens and Nashville Predators, announced this afternoon they have received defenseman Jason Jozsa and forward Ian McKenzie from the American Hockey League's Milwaukee Admirals. Both players are eligible to play in tonight's game against the Toledo Walleye at U.S. Bank Arena at 7:30pm. The Cyclones are looking for a season-long eighth straight win.
Jozsa, 28, is coming to Cincinnati for the fourth time this season. The seventh year pro has appeared in 31 games with the Cyclones and has three goals and 14 assists for 17 points and 18 penalty minutes. He has also seen action in ten games with Milwaukee and has four penalty minutes.
McKenzie, 22, is in his second season as a professional and is coming to Cincinnati for the second time this season. Ian has played in eleven games and has a goal and two assists for three points and 16 penalty minutes with the Cyclones. He has 24 games and a goal and 14 penalty minutes with Milwaukee this season
The Cyclones host Toledo tonight- opening a five game homestand, while Wheeling rolls in for the weekend (Friday and Saturday). On Friday night (Feb. 19), it is team photo giveaway night and one dollar John Morrell hot dogs will be the discounted food item. Saturday night (Feb. 20), it is Pink In The Rink- with the players wearing pink jerseys that will be auctioned off after the game. Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Patty Brisben Foundation. One dollar pizza slices from Donatos will be the discounted food item.
Tickets for the 2009-10 Cincinnati Cyclones season are now on sale. The Cyclones Sales Department can be reached at 513-421-PUCK, extension 3. The Cyclones have selected Friday night games carried on 1530 Homer - The Sports Animal and all contests aired on their website at www.cycloneshockey.com. The next radio game on 1530 Homer - The Sports Animal is Friday night at 7:30pm when the squad battles Wheeling.
