Ontario Reign News Release

ONTARIO, Calif. - The Ontario Reign, proud affiliate of the NHL Los Angeles Kings, are having their 2nd annual "Pink at the Rink" sponsored by Toyota of San Bernardino on Saturday, February 20th at 6:00 p.m. instead of the usual 7:00 p.m. start time. All doors will open at 5:00 p.m. and the first 500 ladies will receive a pink hat, compliments of Toyota.

The Ontario Reign players will be wearing specialty pink jerseys and the players will begin the game with pink hockey sticks. The pink hockey sticks will be auctioned off during a silent auction during the game. Immediately following the game, the specialty pink jerseys will be auctioned off in a live auction to benefit the Stater Bros. Charities and the Inland Women Fighting Cancer Charity.

This year's Pink at the Rink sponsorship came to be because of Cliff Cummings' own family experience with the disease. "Bobbi's (Cliff's wife) mom died of breast cancer and my mother suffered from it prior to her death last year. While awareness and treatment regimens continually improve we must find a cure and events such as this Reign game help pave the way." said Cliff Cumming. As the owner of Toyota of San Bernardino, Mr. Cummings chose Stater Bros. Charities and the Inland Women Fighting Cancer Charity to benefit from this night.

The start time has been changed from the usual 7:00 p.m. puck drop to 6:00 p.m. to accommodate the Cal State Fullerton Titans vs. the Cal State Long Beach 49ers hockey game which will take place immediately following the post-game jersey auction. Your ticket to the Reign game will also be good for the college game.

Tickets are still available, please call us at (909) 941-PUCK (7825) or visit us at www.ontarioreign.com.
