BROOKLYN, N.Y. - In the first game of the second half of the South Atlantic League season, the Brooklyn Cyclones powered past the Hudson Valley Renegades 6-1 on Friday night at Maimonides Park.

William Lugo then chopped a ball to third to Marcos Cabrera who stepped on the bag and threw to first for a double play, but Alex Ramirez scored to hand the Cyclones a 1-0 lead.
