Cincinnati Cyclones News Release
CINCINNATI, Ohio - The 2010 Kelly Cup Champion Cincinnati Cyclones, proud affiliate of the NHL's Florida Panthers and Nashville Predators, announced today they have teamed with the ECHL and the MeiGray Group for the Inaugural Kelly Cup Championship Banner-Raising Night Jersey Auction.
As part of this new league initiative, on opening night (October 30) the Cyclones will wear special-edition jerseys and socks in honor of their 2010 Kelly Cup title - the combination of which will be auctioned off after the game. From October 12-29, MeiGray will open the auction with a starting pre-bid of $225 for each player's jersey and socks.
The top pre-bid for each jersey will be the starting bid on opening night. If a jersey has not been pre-bid, the opening bid will be $225. Pre-bidders who do not plan to attend the game on October 30 must submit their top bid by October 29, since only live bids will be accepted during the game on October 30.
For information on how you can pre-bid, log on to CyclonesHockey.com or call MeiGray toll-free at 888-463-4472.
The Cyclones will open up regular season play on the road next Friday, October 15 against the Elmira Jackals at 7:35pm. Friday's game will be broadcast LIVE on CyclonesHockey.com.
The defending Kelly Cup Champion Cyclones open their home schedule on Saturday, October 30 at U.S. Bank Arena against the Wheeling Nailers.
