DENVER - The Denver Cutthroats are coming off a pair of weekend losses that has left them in a fourth-place tie with the Missouri Mavericks and a three-game week coming up, including a Tuesday night game in Missouri.

Overall record: 23-19-6, T-4th in the Berry Conference

February 5 vs. Arizona Sundogs, 3-2 Shootout Loss
Arizona's Jason Morgan scored the game-tying marker in the final minute of the third period with the extra attacker before the Sundogs won in a five-round shootout. AJ Gale scored both of Denver's goals for a league-leading 29 this season.
February 8 vs. Fort Worth Brahmas, 4-3 Loss
A pair of third period goals for the Brahmas was the difference as Tomas Klempa tied the game with a shorthanded tally and Ross Rouleau scored the game-winner. Brad Smyth, Brent Cullaton, and Luke Fulghum each scored for Denver.
February 9 vs. Fort Worth Brahmas, 1-0 Loss
Tomas Klempa scored the only goal of the game in the second period and the Brahmas rode of the wave of Brad Fogal's 23 saves to hand the Cutthroats just their second shutout of the season.

The Cutthroats and Mavericks meet for the fifth of eight total meetings this season. Denver is currently 2-1-1 against the Mavericks this season with the series scoring tied at 14-14. Denver and Missouri are currently tied for fourth in the Central Hockey League standings with 52 points on the year. The Cutthroats are 1-3-0 against the Thunder this year and will be facing the second-place team in the CHL in a home-and-home series.
