Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
Game Highlights - Crosscutters pitching struck out a season-high 16 batters, but the Cutters offense failed to score a run in their 5-0 loss to the Spikes, as Williamsport is swept by State College in the final series of the 1st half.
Nick Meyer lead the Crosscutters with five strikeouts, but he allowed four runs over two innings, taking the loss.
Sal Fusco allowed the other run, doing so in two innings of work, in which he struck out a pair of Spikes batters.
Creed Watkins, Kyler Patterson and Jacob Peaden combined to work the final four innings of scoreless relief, striking out eight batters, allowing just one hit and one base runner from the 6th inning on.
