Williamsport Crosscutters News Release
The Cutters effort came up short Saturday night as they lost the Staten Island Yankees 6-3. The loss drops the Cutters to 2nd place in the McNamara Division, 1 game behind the Yanks. CF James Boone provided all the Williamsport offense with a 3-run home run in the eighth inning. Recently signed 16th round draft pick Eric Krebs (0-1) made his first appearance as a Cutter and pitched 3.2 innings, giving up 7 hits, 4 earned runs, and struck out 2. The Cutters begin a 6 game road trip Sunday night in Batavia.
