The Williamsport Crosscutters had to go to Sudden Death but come out with the win in Trenton.
Brayland Skinner collected two hits during the contest. Will Fuenning, Adam Becker, and EJ Taylor each collected an RBI.
The Cutters started Zac Shoemaker and he went five solid innings allowing three runs, two earned, along with five hits, three walks, and eight strikeouts. Davis Burgin threw the next inning and two thirds where he allowed only one run, which was unearned, along with one hit and one walk and collected two strikeouts.
Salvatore Ferro tallied an inning and a third and only allowed two hits. Conner Langrell threw an inning and was able to hold the Thunder scoreless as he gave up one hit, one walk, and collected a strikeout.
Trenton elected to bat in Sudden Death and after the Cutters picked off the placed runner, they retired the two Thunder batters in order to claim victory in the tiebreaker.
