Results... The Cutters are currently 3-2 (2nd place) on their season-opening 6-game road trip (prior to Sunday night's game). Be sure to catch all the road action on 91.7FM WRLC. Opening Night! The time has finally arrived for the 2005 Williamsport Crosscutters home opener, Monday, June 27th at 7:05pm as the Cutters host the Aberdeen IronBirds. Box seat tickets are SOLD OUT but general admission tickets remain for the opener, presented by River Valley TRansit & Variety 97.7. The first 1,000 fans receive free T-shirts! Loads of Opening Night festivities...be sure to gte there early for all the fun, gate sopen at 6pm!
Anthem Idol Brian Christiana of Shamokin won the Anthem Idol contest on Variety 97.7FM and will sing the National Anthem before the home opener on Monday night. Brian beat out 3 other finalists Friday morning on the air at Veriety 97.7FM to win the annual sing-off.

Cutters To Hold Baseball Camp The Williamsport Crosscutters have announced the 2005 Crosscutters Kids Camp to be held on August 13th and 14th at Historic Bowman Field. The camp, sponsored by CA Reed Factory Outlets, is open to all children ages 8-15. Camp size is strictly limited and pre-registration is required. The campers will receive baseball instruction from Cutters manager and 17-year major league vet Tom Prince, coaches Dave Lundquist and Ramon Sambo along with selected Crosscutters players. Camp instruction will run from 9am-noon each day. The cost is $65 per child. In addition to the camp instruction, all children will receive: a camp T-shirt, Cutters baseball cap, a ticket to the August 13th Crosscutters game, lunch with the players and coaches on August 14 and a certificate of participation autographed by all the instructors. Alumni Update RHP Ian Snell (Oquendo/2001) was recalled by the Pittsbugh Pirates on 6/26. He was also recently named to the International League All-Star squad. He pitched a no-hitter earlier this season at Triple-A Indianapolis
