
Cutters Fall to Nashua, 9-3

WEST HAVEN, CT - The 1-2 hitters at the top of Nashua's lineup went a combined 7-for-10 with three doubles, six runs scored and four RBI to push the Pride over the New Haven County Cutters, 9-3, Sunday afternoon in the third of a four-game series at Historic Yale Field.
Pride leadoff hitter John Ramistella went 3-for-5 with a double, three runs scored and two RBI and second place batter Olmo Rosario posted a 4-for-5 day with two doubles, two stolen bases, three runs scored and two RBI in the victory.
Cutters' starter LHP Ryan Bonesio (2-3) was beat up for seven earned runs on 12 hits in 6.1 innings and suffered the loss.
Left fielder Henri Stanley led the Cutters at the plate, tallying a double, triple and a run scored in four at-bats.
RHP Jason Paul started for the Pride but lasted only 3.2 innings before RHP Angelo Burrows (1-1) came on and threw 2.1 innings of hitless relief to pick up the win.
The two teams wrap their four-game series Monday night at Historic Yale Field. Game time is 7:05 pm.
The Cutters are scheduled to start LHP Rolando Valles (0-3, 4.00 ERA) with the Pride set to throw RHP Hideki Nagasaka (3-0, 4.91 ERA).
