HIGHLIGHTS: The Cutters extended their winning streak to 8 games by defeating the Tri-City ValleyCats 7-4 Wednesday night. Williamsport fell behind early 2-0 but took control in the 2nd scoring 4 runs and adding 3 more in the 5th. 1B Steven Pearce went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and LF Ryan Searage went 1 for 4 with 2 RBI's. RHP Luis Munoz (5-1) got his team leading 5th win as he went 5.0 innings, giving up 7 hits, one earned run, and struck out two. The Cutters will look to get their third consecutive sweep Thursday night in the final game of the three game set against Tri-City at Bowman Field.
