
Cutters Earn 2nd Seed in Playoffs, Open Wednesday at Home

New Haven County Cutters News Release
WEST HAVEN, CT - As a result of Brockton's loss Saturday night, the New Haven County Cutters have officially secured the No. 2 spot in the Can-Am League's four-seed playoff format. The Cutters will now host the Rox for the first two games of the best-of-five opening round series on Wednesday and Thursday at 7:05 p.m.
Game Three of the series will be played Friday night at Brockton with Games Four and Five (if necessary) set for Saturday and Sunday also in Brockton.
If the Cutters win their first round series they will advance to the Championship Round scheduled to begin Tuesday, Sept. 12.
The North Shore Spirit has clinched the top seed and will host either Quebec, New Jersey or Nashua in the league's other first round playoff match up.
