Altoona Curve News Release
HARRISBURG, Pa. - Mother nature would not allow the Altoona Curve and Harrisburg Senators to play their regularly-scheduled game on Friday night with rain pouring on the field at Metro Bank Park. The game will now be made up as part of a doubleheader scheduled for 6 p.m. on Saturday and will consist of two seven-inning games.
Pirates LHP Francisco Liriano is still scheduled to make a MLB rehab appearance for the Curve on Saturday and will get the starting nod in Game 1. Friday night's scheduled starter, Tyler Waldron (0-2, 4.50), will now pitch in Game 2 on Saturday night. Harrisburg counters on Saturday with RHP Nathan Karns (0-1, 7.27) in Game 1 and RHP Brian Broderick (1-0, 3.94) in Game 2.
Airtime on ESPN Radio 1430, WVAM and the Curve Radio Network is now scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
