Curve hold the line on 2010 season ticket prices
August 16, 2009 - Eastern League (EL1)
Altoona Curve News Release
ALTOONA, Pa - Despite the ever-growing cost of doing business, the Altoona Curve will keep 2010 season ticket prices the same as 2009 and offer new, valuable incentives to remain or become a season ticket holder.
Diamond Club tickets, located in the lower seating bowl of Blair County Ballpark, will remain $639 for the 71-game home schedule. Terrace ($497) and Grandstand ($355) seats, situated in the upper seating bowl, will again go for the same rate. Finally, the UPMC Health Plan Outfield Reserve seats, behind the left field wall, stay at a rate of $284 for the 2010 campaign. All of those rates represent $1 off per game of the single-game ticket price.
To increase the savings and benefits for season ticket holders, Early Bird prices will be available to those who pay in full by November 1. Fans can save as much as $40 per ticket off the regular rate under the new offering.
"Our season ticket holders are the backbone of our franchise" said Altoona Curve General Manager Rob Egan. "While there was a great deal of savings enjoyed by many fans who purchased Curve tickets this year, it's important to ensure that a Curve season ticket holder experiences the most value."
The perks of being an Altoona Curve season ticket holder will not end with the Early Bird offer. For the first time in franchise history, the Curve will reward season ticket holders for the percentage of redemption of their ticket(s). Fans that reach a certain tier based on the usage of their tickets will receive terrific rewards. For example, there will be different levels of rewards for fans that redeem 50, 70, and 90 percent of their tickets over the course of the season.
"The redemption program is a terrific way to show our appreciation for those season ticket holders that are at Blair County Ballpark on a regular basis providing unwavering support of the Curve," Egan added. "These fans make our operation go. They should be recognized and rewarded for their frequent attendance."
More details about the Season Ticket Holder Rewards Program will be announced at a later date.
The other new perk that Altoona Curve season ticket holders will enjoy is an Early Deposit Bonus. For deposits received by September 30, a $10 Curve Coin, which can be used towards ballpark food, Curve merchandise or additional tickets, will be distributed to all who place early deposits.
