(Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, British Columbia) - The Vancouver Canadians Baseball Club will pay tribute to Hastings Little League and the 2009 team that traveled to Williamsport, PA to represent Canada at the Little League World Series (August 21-30, 2009) on Friday, September 4th starting at 6:45pm out at Nat Bailey Stadium.
With Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson on hand, the Canadians will honour the Hastings Little League with a pre-game ceremony, have the team come out alongside the Canadians players as their Baseball Buddies for both American and National anthems.
The Canadians will also hold a silent auction on Friday, September 4th to help support Hastings Little League and allow them to continue in the development of great, young players like those who represented Canada at this year's Little League World Series.
