Crunch to Host Voter Registration Drive at Fan Convention

Syracuse, NY - The Syracuse Crunch, along with the League of Women Voters will host a voter registration drive at the club's fan convention on Wed. Oct. 10 at the War Memorial.

Volunteers from the League of Women Voters will be on hand at the fan convention from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. to register voters for this November's election. The national deadline to register for the 2012 Presidential Election is Oct. 12.

Crunch Fan Convention is an event for Crunch supporters to visit the War Memorial for an open skate and chance to meet the 2012-13 Syracuse Crunch. Season ticket holders will also be able to pick up their season ticket booklets at the convention.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization, with its national office in Washington, DC, and local and state Leagues in all 50 states, the District of Columbia, and the Virgin Islands. To learn more visit www.lwv.org.

Tickets for the 2012-13 Crunch campaign are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444, or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial Arena located at 800 South State Street in downtown Syracuse.
