Crunch Sign Goaltender Joel Martin

Syracuse, NY (November 30, 2007) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have signed goaltender Joel Martin to a professional try-out contract.

Martin, 25, has appeared in 11 games this season with Elmira, going 8-3-0 with a 2.80 goals-against average and .902 save percentage. A native of Forth Worth, Texas, Martin appeared in one game for the Crunch last season, going 1-0-0 with a 1.00 goals-against average and .971 save percentage.

The Crunch's next home game is Friday, November 30 vs. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton at the War Memorial at Oncenter.
