Crunch Return Center Ryan Garlock to Johnstown; Release Left Wing Mark Bomersback

Syracuse, NY (December 22, 2008) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they have returned center Ryan Garlock to Johnstown (ECHL) and released left wing Mark Bomersback from his professional tryout contract.

Garlock, 22 has appeared in nine games for the Crunch this season, posting 11 penalty minutes. He has also skated in 13 games for Johnstown, registering eight goals, seven assists and 22 penalty minutes. A native of Iroquois Falls, Ontario, Garlock was signed by the Crunch to a standard players' contract on October 8.

Bomersback, 26, has appeared in two games with the Crunch this season. He has also skated in nine games with Providence (AHL) this year, tallying one goal and 12 games with Idaho (ECHL), notching three goals, 10 assists and eight penalty minutes.

The Crunch return to action on Friday, December 26 as they travel to Binghamton to take on the Senators. The club returns home on Saturday, December 27 for a 7:30 p.m. contest against the Hamilton Bulldogs.
