Crunch Announce 2004-05 Preseason Schedule

Syracuse, NY (August 5, 2004) - The Syracuse Crunch announced today that they will compete in the first annual ‘I-81 Puck Cup Tournament' with the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins and Binghamton Senators.

The ‘I-81 Puck Cup Tournament' is a preseason, round robin challenge that has Syracuse playing a home-and-home series against both Wilkes-Barre/Scranton and Binghamton. The Crunch will host Wilkes-Barre/Scranton on Friday, October 1 at 7:30 p.m. and then travel to Wachovia Arena at Casey Plaza on Thursday, October 7 in a 7:05 p.m. match-up.

On Saturday, October 2, Syracuse travels to the Broome County Veterans Memorial Arena for a 7:05 p.m. face- off. Wednesday, October 6 the Crunch hosts the Senators at 11 a.m. for the team's second annual ‘Crunch Rule in School' game.

Ticket information for the ‘I-81 Puck Cup Tournament' will be announced at a later date.

Season tickets for the 2004-05 season are now on sale and can be purchased by calling the Crunch office at (315) 473-4444 or by stopping by the Crunch office in the War Memorial at Oncenter.
