Meet The Cutters Reception Announced! Event Moves to Bowman Field For '08 The Williamsport Crosscutters have announced the annual "Meet the Cutters" reception will be held, Monday, June 16 from 5:00pm-7:00pm at Historic Bowman Field. This marks the first time that the reception will be held on-site at the ballpark. Admission is free and the public is invited. Cutters Vice President of Marketing & Public Relations, Gabe Sinicropi said moving the event to the ballpark, "will give fans the opportunity to not only meet the team but to also stay after the event to watch their 1st workout of the season under the lights at Bowman Field." Anyone with a spare room can help provide lodging for this year's Crosscutters by either providing space or renting a room/apartment. The Cutters and their Booster Club are always looking to add names to their list of families, especially homes where Spanish is spoken, because of the number of Latin American players in the Phillies organization. Cutters Opening Night & Single Game Tickets NOW Available Online Ordering Now Added for Single Game Tickets Tickets for the Williamsport Crosscutters home opener scheduled for Friday, June 20, are now on sale. In addition, box seat and general admission tickets for individual games will also be available. The Crosscutters box office at Bowman Field is open Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm and Saturdays from 10am-2pm (beginning June 7). Payment can be made by cash, check or credit card. With the Williamsport Crosscutters First Pitch Package you can take the field with your future Phillies and show off your best delivery to the whole crowd (and have a picture to prove it)!
These memorable opportunities are only available to the general public at select games and are sure to go fast. The package includes; Throwing a ceremonial first pitch prior to a Cutters game, a hot dog, soda, souvenir program and Cutters cap, and your name in lights on the Bowman Field scoreboard. Phillies Announce Tryout Camp at Bowman Field The Philadelphia Phillies have announced a tryout camp to be held at Bowman Field on Friday, June 27 at 9am.
The tryout camp is open to all players over 16 years of age. There is no fee. Registration will take place 30 minutes prior to start of camp. All players must bring their own equipment, including hat, cleats, glove and baseball pants or shorts. Bats and balls are provided at the workout. Catchers may want to bring their own catching gear.
