
Crew To Broadcast Home Games In Spanish On Radio Sol, 1550-AM

COLUMBUS, Ohio (Thursday, March 31, 2005) â Columbus Crew General Manager Mark McCullers, along with Radio Sol, 1550-AM General Manager Luis Orozco, announced today that Radio Sol will continue as the Spanish Radio Home of the Columbus Crew.
It is the second season on Radio Sol and the fourth season that The Crew has aired their home games on Spanish radio in Columbus.
"The Crew organization remains committed to forging a sound and mutually beneficial relationship with the Columbus Hispanic community," said McCullers. "Our partnership with Radio Sol is a key element in that regard, and we look forward to our second year with them."
Radio Sold will broadcast all 16 Crew regular season home games, as well as any home playoff games.
"We are excited to once again bring professional soccer to our Spanish community," said Orozco. "This season will be a great one, with the first visit of Chivas USA, and of course, the electrifying World Cup qualifier between the USA and Mexico on September 3. 2005 will be a great year for âfutbol' in Columbus.
