HICKORY, NC - The 1st-Place Hickory Crawdads are looking to continue a red-hot road trip, wrapping up the nine-game swing with games on Monday and Tuesday night in Greensboro. The 'Dads took three of four from the Kannapolis Intimidators to start the trip, and have won two of the first three against the Grasshoppers as well, setting up Hickory for a bid at its third straight series win to start the second half of the season. The Crawdads will return home for the 4th of July Fireworks Extravaganza, presented by Carolina Postal Credit Union and KICKS 103.3 FM, this Wednesday at 7 p.m. against the Delmarva Shorebirds!
The Crawdads are 8-3 to start the second half and 44-36 on the season. Hickory is in 1st place in the Northern Division Second Half Standings, 1.0 game ahead of the Hagerstown Suns.

Williams gets the call to High-A Myrtle Beach!
OF Jeremy Williams is the most recent Crawdads player to be promoted to the Myrtle Beach Pelicans (High-A), getting the call last Friday.
Williams had been one of the Crawdads best hitters this season, batting a team-best .304 along with 42 RBIs, 35 runs, 18 doubles, and eight home runs in 64 games.
Since his call to Myrtle Beach, Williams is batting .500 (5-for-10) with two doubles, a home run and four RBIs. Williams is the fifth Crawdad promoted to Myrtle Beach this season, joining INF Hanser Alberto, RHP Luke Jackson, RHP Jose Monegro, and RHP Randol Rojas.
