Craig Brackins Reassigned To Springfield Armor

SPRINGFIELD, MA ‚¬" The Philadelphia 76ers announced today that they have reassigned Craig Brackins to the Springfield Armor. This will be Brackins ‚¬â„¢ second stint with the Armor and the third NBA assignment to the Armor in the 2010-11 season.

Brackins, who was drafted 21st overall in the 2010 NBA Draft out of Iowa State, played in five games with the Armor from Dec. 2nd-Dec. 11th, averaging 17.2 points, 8.6 rebounds and 1.8 blocks in 37.4 minutes per game.

Brackins was recalled by the Sixers on Dec. 12th and has appeared in one game with the team since his return to Philadelphia, scoring 2 points and grabbing 2 rebounds in 11 minutes in a 110-95 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Dec. 27th. In total, Brackins has appeared in two games with the Sixers this season, averaging 4 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.

Brackins will be in uniform for the Armor ‚¬â„¢s game tonight at 7:00 p.m. at the MassMutual Center against the Erie BayHawks.
