Landry, Lin Named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week

RENO, Nev.-Jeremy Lin and Marcus Landry of the Reno Bighorns were today named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played during the week of Jan. 10.

Lin and Landry led the Bighorns to a 4-0 record on the week, and were both named to the All-NBA D-League Showcase First Team. Lin, a 6-3, 200-pound guard out of Harvard who is on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.8 steals. Landry, a 6-7, 225-pound forward out of Wisconsin who played for the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks last season, averaged 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.0 steals.

Lin displayed his all-around game in the Bighorns' four wins. In victories over Maine and Sioux Falls at the NBA D-League Showcase, Lin averaged 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals, and he added 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in Reno's win against Texas on Saturday. Landry, meanwhile, began the week with a 29-point performance against Maine, and tallied 24 points, five rebounds and four steals in Reno's win over the Legends. Reno sets out on a four-game, eight-day road trip beginning Thursday night in Tulsa. Tip-time is set for 5 p.m. PT., and the game can be seen live on NBA Futurecast at nba.com/dleague.
