Reno's Lin, Landry Named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week

NEW YORK, Jan. 18, 2011 - Jeremy Lin and Marcus Landry of the Reno Bighorns were today named NBA Development League Co-Performers of the Week for games played during the week of Jan. 10.

Lin and Landry led the Bighorns to a 4-0 record on the week, and were both named to the All-NBA D-League Showcase First Team. Lin, a 6-3, 200-pound guard out of Harvard who is on assignment from the Golden State Warriors, averaged 20.3 points, 5.8 rebounds, 5.0 assists and 2.8 steals. Landry, a 6-7, 225-pound forward out of Wisconsin who played for the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks last season, averaged 19.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 2.0 steals.

Lin displayed his all-around game in the Bighorns' four wins. In victories over Maine and Sioux Falls at the NBA D-League Showcase, Lin averaged 21.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 3.5 steals, and he added 21 points, seven rebounds, six assists and four steals in Reno's win against Texas on Saturday. Landry, meanwhile, began the week with a 29-point performance against Maine, and tallied 24 points, five rebounds and four steals in Reno's win over the Legends.

This week's honorable mention selections were Bakersfield's Trey Johnson, who averaged 26.3 points, 5.0 rebounds and 3.5 assists in four games; Dakota's Anthony Goods, who averaged 21.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.3 assists, and Chris Johnson, who averaged 18.5 points and 11.0 rebounds, in four games; Erie's Ivan Johnson, who averaged 25.8 points, 10.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals in four games; Fort Wayne's Oliver Lafayette, who averaged 23.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 3.8 assists and 2.0 steals, and Walker Russell, who averaged 20.3 points, 3.8 rebounds, 7.3 assists and 3.0 steals, in four games; Idaho's Cedric Jackson, who averaged 15.8 points, 6.8 rebounds and 7.0 assists in four games; Iowa's Othyus Jeffers, who averaged 26.0 points, 13.0 rebounds and 3.0 steals, and Curtis Stinson, who averaged 19.0 points, 7.3 rebounds and 8.3 assists, in three games; New Mexico's Dar Tucker, who averaged 22.3 points and 6.8 rebounds in four games; Rio Grande Valley's Jeff Adrien, who averaged 25.0 points and 14.0 rebounds, and Jerel McNeal, who averaged 24.0 points, 5.0 rebounds and 5.5 assists in two games; Sioux Falls' Anthony Harris, who averaged 22.3 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.3 assists in four games; Texas' Joe Alexander, who averaged 22.0 points, 9.0 rebounds and 3.8 assists, and Justin Dentmon, who averaged 25.5 points, 4.8 rebounds and 8.0 assists, in four games; and Utah's Ronald Dupree, who averaged 19.7 points, 8.7 rebounds and 3.3 assists in three games.
