The Edmonton Cracker-Cats turned the tables on the Winnipeg Goldeyes Wednesday night at TELUS Field. After enduring an 11-0 embarrassment on Tuesday, the âCats plated 11 runs on 12 hits to even the series at a win a piece.
Ashley Freeman nailed his 5th homerun of the season, a 2 run shot in the 3rd inning, and a run scoring single in the 6th. Terrence McLain went 3 for 4 including his 5th home run, a solo shot in the 5th inning.
Ben Moore (4-2) went 3 and 2/3 innings allowing 7 runs to take the loss.
Edmonton starter Mike Henry (3-0) pitched 8 innings allowing 4 runs, 2 earned, to take the victory.
