Coyotes Recall Maclean from San Antonio

GLENDALE, ARIZONA --- Phoenix Coyotes General Manager Don Maloney announced today that the Coyotes have recalled right wing Brett MacLean from the San Antonio Rampage, the Coyotes American Hockey League affiliate.

The 6-foot-2, 197 pound MacLean has played one game with the Coyotes this season, scoring a goal in his NHL debut versus the Los Angeles Kings on December 29, 2010.

In 40 games with the Rampage this season, the 23-year-old native of London, Ontario has recorded 16-21-37 and 22 penalty minutes. MacLean leads the entire Rampage team in goals, assists (tied), points, plus/minus (+11), power play goals (7) and shots (172) and ranks tied for 10th in AHL scoring.

MacLean was drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (32nd overall) in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
