Coyotes Recall Fischer, Assign Dauphin to Tucson

GLENDALE, ARIZONA -- Arizona Coyotes General Manager John Chayka announced today that the Coyotes have recalled forward Christian Fischer and assigned forward Laurent Dauphin to the Tucson Roadrunners, the club's American Hockey League affiliate (AHL).

The 19-year-old Fischer has registered 2-0-2 in three games with the Coyotes this season and became the first player in franchise history to score a goal in each of his first two career NHL games. The 6-foot-2, 210-pound forward leads Tucson in goals and is second on the team in points with 19-24-43 with 28 penalty minutes (PIM) in 51 games with the Roadrunners.

Fischer was originally drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (32nd overall) in the 2015 Entry Draft.

The 21-year-old Dauphin has collected 2-1-3 and 12 PIM in 24 games with the Coyotes and has registered 14-8-22 with 35 PIM in 31 games with the Roadrunners this season. Dauphin was drafted by the Coyotes in the second round (39th overall) in the 2013 Entry Draft.
