Stockton, Calif. - The Stockton Heat, proudly owned by the NHL's Calgary Flames, announce that Swedish defenseman Adam Ollas Mattsson has been added to the roster by the club on an AHL Amateur Tryout (ATO).
Ollas Mattsson, 20, was selected by the Calgary Flames in the sixth round, 175th overall during the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. The Stockholm, Sweden native has played his entire hockey career in Europe playing junior hockey in Sweden along with pro in Sweden's first and second divisions. This year he played a career high 52 games for Djurgardens IF of the Swedish Hockey League, the top level of hockey in Sweden, playing 52 games and recording a goal, 3 assists and a plus-3 rating.
