With the series tied at two games apiece, the Kalamazoo Wings and Wheeling Nailers will battle in game five of the Eastern Conference Finals at the WesBanco Arena. Kalamazoo evened-up the series last night with a 3-2 victory in game four.
Propelled by two special team goals, the K-Wings scored all three of their game four goals in the second period. For the second-time in the playoffs, Kory Karlander scored shorthanded, while former Nailer; Aaron Clarke recorded the game-winner with a power-play goal with 51 seconds remaining in the period.
Over the course of the past two games, the Nailers have outscored the K-Wings 3-0 in the opening period. Wheeling forward Mickael Bedard led the Nailers offense in game four scoring both of his team's goals in defeat.
