Kalamazoo Wings News Release

The Eastern Conference Finals continues tonight at Wings Stadium with game two between the Kalamazoo Wings and Wheeling Nailers. The Nailers took game one last night 3-2 in overtime to take a one-game to none lead in the series.

Looking to even-up the series before heading to Wheeling on Thursday, Kalamazoo enters tonight after squandering a two-goal second period lead last night to drop their second contest of the playoffs. Both of the K-Wings setbacks have been decided by a single goal.

For the second straight game, Wheeling needed overtime to preserve the victory. The Nailers are now 4-1 in overtime during the playoffs. The four extra session wins are the most of any team in the ECHL playoffs. Wheeling was led in game one by Brandon DeFazio, who scored twice, including the game-winner.
