Kalamazoo Wings News Release
For the first time in 40 days, the Kalamazoo Wings will square off against the Flint Generals. The K-Wings are 10-1-0-0 on the season versus the Generals and have won all five of the previous meetings at Wings Stadium.
Dropping three straight overall and two in a row at Wings Stadium, the K-Wings are looking to get back on track in arguably the biggest game and weekend of the season for Kalamazoo. With 19 games remaining, the K-Wings are four points behind Fort Wayne for third and lead Bloomington, who's in fifth by 15 points.
Attempting to stop a streak of their own, Flint has lost three straight games overall and four in a row on the road. With 17 games remaining, the Generals are in sixth place in the IHL and trail Kalamazoo by 25 points for the final playoff spot in the league.

After missing the past four games for family reasons, defenseman Casey Handrahan will return to the K-Wings lineup. Handrahan leads all K-Wing defenseman in assist with 26 and ranks second amongst the team's blue-liners in overall points with 28, one shy of Rod Aldoff.
Aldoff Nears Milestone
Defenseman Rod Aldoff is closing in on several personal milestones. Aldoff is one goal shy of 100, two assists shy of 300 and three points shy of 400 in his career.
Snapping a Streak
The K-Wings are looking to snap two streaks this evening. Kalamazoo has dropped three straight overall and two in a row at home, both streaks match season-highs for the K-Wings.
