Kalamazoo Wings News Release
A rivalry will be renewed tonight when the Kalamazoo Wings host the Fort Wayne Komets. This is the first of ten meetings between the archrivals, which includes five encounters at Wings Stadium.
Kalamazoo is looking to rebound after suffering its worst defeat of the season, a three goal loss (7-4) last Saturday to Flint. The K-Wings will receive a big boost to the lineup tonight as 6-7 defenseman Chris McAllister makes his K-Wings debut.
No UHL team of late has been better than Fort Wayne. The Komets come into Wings Stadium riding a league high 6-game winning streak.

Making His Debut
Defenseman Chris McAllister has been activated off the 14-Day IR and will be in the lineup tonight against Fort Wayne. McAllister, an 11-year veteran, has skated in 301 NHL games.
Herring on Suspension
Forward David Herring will be out of tonight's game because of one-game league suspension. Herring received the suspension for his match penalty last Saturday versus Flint.
Kris Cross
Just like the rap group of the 90's Kris Cross, K-Wings forward Justin Cross has fans ready to "jump, jump." Cross, who has scored four-goals this season, enters the contest riding a K-Wings' season high three-game goal streak.
How the West is Won
Tonight will be the first-time this season, the K-Wings will battle a team outside of the Eastern Conference All-time the K-Wings are 74-68-20 against the Western Conference, which includes a record of 22-25-9 versus the Komets.
