Countdown to Face-Off

For the second straight game, the Kalamazoo Wings will lace up their skates against the Port Huron Flags. The K-Wings, who defeated the Flags 4-2, last Saturday in Port Huron, lead the season series over the Flags with a record of 6-0-1. Today is a special game between the teams, as this morning's face-off coincides with the 3rd Annual Kalamazoo Public School's Day Presented by WKFR and Culver's.

Kalamazoo comes into the game just three points behind the Muskegon Fury for the top spot in the Central Division. The K-Wings also enter today on a five-game unbeaten streak. Over their last five games, the K-Wings have a record of 4-0-1. The 3rd Annual KPS Day will also start a three-game home stand for the K-Wings, who are 18-5-4 inside of Wings Stadium this season.

The Port Huron Flags come into today's game looking to get back to their winning ways. Port Huron is currently on a two-game winless streak. In fact, the Flags are just 1-8-0 in their last nine games. Today will be the first road game for Interim Head Coach Kam White, who took over as head coach on Saturday after the Flags relieved Paul Willet of his duties.
