
Bowl with the IceHogs at Forest Hills Lanes

Rockford, Ill.- This Sunday, March 5, the Rockford IceHogs will host a Charity Bowl with Forest Hills Lanes at Forest Hills Lanes located at 7742 Forest Hills Road in Loves Park. IceHogs fans can bowl with IceHogs players and Head Coach Steve Martinson, and help raise money for the Forest Hills Lanes Grand Prix Scholarship Program.
Sign-up at the event begins at 2:30 p.m. and there is limited space available. Bowling will run from 3-5 p.m. and each participant will bowl two games of 9-Pin No Tap. For pre-registration, contact Forest Hills Lanes at (815) 654-3900. Cost is $15 per person or $25 per couple.
Fans will have the opportunity to bowl with all the players in attendance, as the players will rotate lanes throughout the event. There will also be a 50/50 raffle and a raffle for door prizes. Prizes include IceHogs merchandise, and prizes from Miller Lite and Forest Hills Lanes. Little Anthony's will supply free pizza to all bowlers as well.
The Grand Prix Scholarship Program benefits graduating high school students who participated in Summer Leagues, Adult/Youth Leagues or Sports Leagues at Forest Hills Lanes. For more information about the Grand Prix Scholarship Program, contact Forest Hills Lanes at (815) 654-3900.
Forest Hills Lanes is also home to the IceHogs weekly talk show, HogTalk, which takes place inside Shooters North every Monday from 6:30-7:30 p.m. WXRX-FM, 104.9's Jim Stone and Double T host the show and are joined weekly by Martinson and a pair of IceHogs players.
Next Home Game: Friday, March 17 vs. Richmond RiverDogs. The game is slated to start at 7:05 p.m. The IceHogs return home from a long road swing to take on Brendan Tedstone and the Richmond RiverDogs. The first 1,000 fans to the game will receive IceHogs Poster #5 in a series of seven from Medicine Man, Johnson Press, Pepsi and the Rockford Register Star. Also, the IceHogs will hold their annual Airplane Toss with Wheels By RT and Allegiant Air. One lucky fan will have an opportunity to win a trip to Las Vegas.
Saturday, March 18 vs. Adirondack Frostbite. The puck drops at 7:05 p.m. The Frostbite make their only visit to Rockford this season during one of the IceHogs hottest promotions! The first 1,000 kids 12-and under will receive a replica IceHogs Youth Jeresy from Ameriprise Financial, WXRX-FM 104.9 and 13WREX.
